The company is ten years old and is owned by Janson and Gayla Graham, the children of business innovator, Edgar Graham (of John E. Graham & Sons). This gives them a business history of 55 years now. Edgar, their father, came up with the idea of an innovative fast supply vessel design, the cabin forward or focs’le bow.
This allows much more efficient use of the vessel for internal and external cargo capacities, while still allowing the maximum carriage of personnel. As our attached spec sheet indicates, our 140’ and 155’ vessels can carry much more in internal tank capacities on our decks, have more square footage than comparable 160’ and 175’ and larger vessels. This design also allows our vessels to maintain close to light boat speed with a full load on board.
The Graham Gulf fleet consists of aluminum hull fast supply vessels of which there are seven 140’ class vessels, six 155’ class vessels, one 150’ class vessel classed as a 155’, three 120’ utility vessels, four 110’ utility vessels and a jet powered vessel, plus reconditioned and remodeled steel hull utility boats.
A sister company, C & G Boat Works, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, managed by ship building industry veteran Mickey Cook, gives us an opportunity for unique new construction, repair, alterations of any vessel, any make or any model. The excellent quality control allows us to constantly change whatever we find best suited to our customers needs and specifics.
Extensive in house safety orientation courses are given to our vessel crews. They are rigger certified to API RP2d edition 4. They are industry veterans and have been involved in the oilfield marine industry for years and know what it takes to get the job done safely and cost effective.
Graham Gulf, Inc. strives to continue the great advances it has made in the areas of unique, quality vessels, safety, performance and the responsibilities to its customers that the Graham family have always upheld.
GRAHAM GULF VESSELS
Our vessels are different because the interior cabin area is utilized to its maximum potential. We have the largest crew staterooms of any other vessel currently in service, which will allows us to sleep up to 12 personnel comfortably. (This includes the vessel crew.) The “dog-house” design of the pilothouse allows a full view of the entire back deck and a 360-° view of the area surrounding the vessel, which allows for safe operation at the rig and dock.
The internal tank capacities make our vessels excellent field production boats. We can carry enough fuel and water to supply the normal production field for a week while still maintaining crew-boat speed which lowers your production costs, as you are able to reach a trouble spot faster and more efficiently. The depth of our hull also allows us to continue to work in rougher weather than your standard utility boat, as our decks are not under water in heavy seas. With aluminum ballast tanks, you don’t have to worry about contamination from deteriorating metals being pumped to your facility.
